American sniper

I just got done listening to the audiobook, American Sniper by Chris Kyle. It’s not what I expected. I’m not sure what I was expecting. It didn’t really cover, in his words anyway, his last days alive. When I listened to his widow’s book, American Wife by Taya Kyle, that was very good, descriptive, detailed, very heartfelt. I’ll forewarn anybody who hasn’t read or listened to her book, you’ll want to have tissues handy.

I’ve been trying to get back into reading/listening to audiobooks more instead of watching TV. Of course, I do watch my shows at night or on demand, however, when I listen to audiobooks, I can do just about anything, including dishes, laundry, clean, and craft. I’ve got some medical issues that quite often tends to make it where i don’t feel like doing anything, nor should I be driving, so I sit and relax and listen to audiobooks and knit or crochet.

I haven’t been here in awhile, but I’m going to try and be here at least twice a week. Have a great rest of your weekend.
